URGENT: Congress could ban hemp beverages in November 2026. Your voice is needed now.
Act Now

Don't let Congress ban hemp beverages.

A change to the federal definition of hemp is set to take effect on November 12, 2026 — one that would effectively eliminate the hemp beverage industry overnight. Congress can still act. But only if they hear from you.

What's Happening

A ban is coming — unless Congress acts.

The FY2026 Agriculture Appropriations Act redefined legal hemp to allow no more than 0.4 mg of naturally occurring THC per container. In practice, that eliminates virtually every hemp beverage on the market today.

Unless Congress acts before the change takes effect in November 2026, a legal, regulated, growing industry — and the safe adult products millions of consumers have come to enjoy — will disappear.

A ban won't end demand

Prohibition won't remove products from the market. It will push consumers toward unregulated channels with no age verification, no product standards, and no enforcement.

There's a better path: regulate, don't ban

Congress can regulate hemp beverages like alcohol — with age limits, testing, labeling, and licensing — instead of banning them outright.

What to tell your representatives.

Request a delay

Ask Congress to back the bipartisan Hemp Planting Predictability Act (H.R. 7024 and S.3686), which delays implementation so lawmakers can craft real regulation.

Regulate like alcohol

A proven, 90-year framework already exists. Federal licensing, independent testing, and a 21+ age requirement can keep consumers safe without a ban.

Protect jobs and small businesses

Hundreds of thousands of American jobs and billions in economic activity depend on a legal, regulated marketplace.

A ban makes consumers less safe

Prohibition drives demand into unregulated channels. Sensible regulation keeps products tested, labeled, and out of the hands of minors.
